概要
太陽から地球圏・太陽圏に至る幅広い領域(太陽地球圏)は、太陽から惑星間空間、地球の磁気圏・電離圏・地球圏(大気・海洋・雪氷・生物圏)からなる複合システムであり、太陽地球圏における短期変動(宇宙天気)および長期変動(宇宙気候)の解明には各領域をまたぐ分野横断型研究が必要となる。
本セッションでは、太陽地球圏変動の概況把握や予測・予報に繋がる基礎的研究、観測・解析手法、予報システム、モデル提案の萌芽的研究・開発進捗だけでなく、太陽黒点、地磁気、宇宙線、歴史的文献のような多種多様な長期データの活用、気象・気候データとの融合など、分野横断型の研究発表を募集する。また、地球周辺の宇宙環境変動に伴う人工衛星やスペースデブリの軌道変動、地磁気誘導電流、通信、衛星測位への影響など、宇宙天気じょう乱の社会的影響の観点からの発表、宇宙天気の普及教育などアウトリーチの観点の発表も歓迎する。宇宙利用の拡大に伴い、宇宙天気の社会的重要性は増しており、今後を担う学生・若手研究者の意欲的な研究発表や提案を歓迎する。
